Crimson Lad, 2012 16.3h chestnut gelding

What an impressive flashy big young guy with huge potential for sporting disciplines!  Crimson Lad had raced — and won — the day before we took his photos, so the poultice on his legs was standard post race care.  It took Crimson Lad quite a few starts to finally win, so his connections realize he is better off finding a new career than coming back to the races next year in tougher conditions.  He is very well put together, with an uphill build and a strong shoulder and clean legs.  He showed very good movement for his jog video, with good suspension, cadence, and reach, and showed none of the stiffness many horses exhibit the day after a race. We spoke with his exercise rider, who says he is very nice to gallop, is quiet and well behaved.  He has a great pedigree for jumping. His sire is Flashy Bull, a son of the great Holy Bull.  We placed a couple of Flashy Bull offspring over the last two years, and they can jump the moon in beautiful form!  The Holy Bull line is well known for producing nice moving horses that can jump and have great minds. Crimson Lad’s dam, Carlow, is a stakes winner from the Buckpasser sire line.  Big, beautiful, young, sound, nice mover, unlimited sport potential… better call fast on this exciting horse!
