What a pretty guy Derek is with his gorgeous dapples, big chest, nice bone and great feet. We really enjoyed visiting with him and his trainers say he is quite a character, a real people horse. Apparently this personable guy love to snuggle his people, loves to be handled and loves to please.  He is still racing at the moment but will be going home to be ridden at the farm. They say he is getting ready to retire and ready to move on to a new career. The trainer mentioned that he came to them with his puffy ankles but has been sound and he hasn’t had any problems. He also said he has no vices. After some transition time he could be a fun show prospect for an adult or young rider. Derek is looking for a great companion and someone wants a horse that really enjoys his owner. Come out to see him and prepare to fall in love.
