We’ve had some wonderful warhorses to offer this year and this guy is right up there as a volunteer favorite. This gorgeous horse is well traveled and has a variety of off track experience that gives him his been-there-done-that demeanor that is the hallmark of an older racer who has a lot of experience in their resume. With his 88 races all over the continent, he has amassed a whopping 14 wins, 13 seconds and 7 thirds, including a Stakes win and Stakes placement and $221,000 in earnings. His resume also includes lots of trail riding and ponying babies on the handler’s farm in Canada. We loved his soft, wise eye and perfect composure while being photographed, as well as his nice shoulder and powerful hind end. He also demonstrated lovely, balanced movement at the jog and is absolutely sound. His handler also gallops him and relates that he has a great brain and never puts a foot out of place. This is a NICE horse for the money and one that we think has many miles left in him.
