Tall, dark, and handsome — Dennis impressed us a classy and kind guy. He is by Performing Magic, who is by Gone West — this is a sire line coveted by many in sport horse disciplines. He has Sadler’s Wells and Roberto on his dam’s side. We admired Dennis’ uphill build, long legs, intelligent eye, and perfect behavior. He showed fluid balanced movement for his jog video. He has old osselets, but he has raced with them, and his trainer says he is sound. It is time to find a new career because he hasn’t been competitive since he broke his maiden, and in his workouts so far this season he isn’t showing enough speed. His trainer says he is a good boy, an all around nice horse. Dennis is quite the bargain for such a big handsome gelding, and we think he would just love being someone’s partner for lower level jumping, trails, or pleasure riding.
