This handsome guy has been a good earning hard knocking race horse with 22 in the money finishes in his career.  He came off the track on November 1, to a farm not far from Finger Lakes, where he is enjoying turnout and is starting his basic retraining for a new career.  His owner says he is sound, has a lot of personality, and has already been ridden English and Western in a D bit at the walk, trot, and canter.  She has also taken him over ground poles and he has not batted an eye.  She reports that he stands on cross ties, and has been turned out with both mares and other geldings with no problems. He has an intriguing pedigree for sport disciplines, from the Bold Ruler sire line, with Ribot, Hail to Reason, Prince John, Ambiorix, Heliopolis and other stout lines… and no Mr. Prospector or Storm Cat.
