This handsome young gelding has been lovingly tended by his owner/trainer who has elected to stop on him after his last race due to some mild soreness in his knee, which was gone in a couple of days.  His handler, who ponies him, saddles him and spends a lot of time with Martini, states that his owner takes excellent care of his horses and he is very anxious for Martini to have a wonderful new home. Martini has been lightly raced with 4 in the money finishes out of 13 starts. He found his way to Finger Lakes via outings in Oaklawn Park, Belmont Park, Keeneland and Churchill Downs, all upper level tracks with tougher competition. He broke his maiden during his Finger Lakes debut on 6/30 of this year. That’s a lot of traveling for a youngster, and we bet he could use some turnout! He has a sweet demeanor and friendly personality and is reported to be without vices. At the jog, he showed beautiful movement with balance and suspension. Martini is by Desert Party (Street Cry) out of a Mt. Livermore mare.
