D’s Sis, 2016, chestnut filly, 15.1 h: retained by owner

Great things do come in small packages. And this little liver chestnut with a very pretty and feminine face is a perfect example! We’re told that she is “great to work around” and “good to ride”. Her handler shared that nothing ever seems to bother her. We observed an agreeable, sweet and quiet filly as we snapped her pictures. And this good girl held it together during her video even though she hasn’t been worked recently (and the chilly, breezy conditions were less than ideal). Her handler stated that she is “super sound”. We observed clean legs, a solid body, and good depth through her chest, heart girth and back. In her video, she displayed cute movement with a springy, light, floaty trot. Her handler thought she may “make a good little gaming horse”. With her shorter back, good balance, and compact proportions, we certainly agree that she might truly excel in agility sports! Her race record is 2-1-1 out of 12 starts with just under $35,000 in lifetime earnings. She has some popular sport sires in her pedigree too- she is by City Zip (with Blushing Groom and In Reality influences), and she’s out of a Giant’s Causeway (Storm Cat) mare who has Damascus and Mr. Prospector in her lineage. But remember, the race meet will soon be over and the snow will fly… as will your chance to take home this little cutie.

Price: $2,500, neg.
