Early Retirement, 2016 16.3h bay gelding

This tall young son of Freud is ready for his early retirement from racing because he just isn’t showing enough potential as a racehorse beyond the low maiden claiming level at which he earned his lone win in 15 starts.. But he has plenty of potential for a second career! Freud, who is a full brother to Giant’s Causeway, is knowm for siring horses who are good jumpers and eventers, and this guy is an excellent sport horse prospect.. His trainer reports that he’s an extremely respectful horse but he does get strong to gallop. He was very quiet for his jog video, trotting on a loose lead on a cold and windy day that other horses found to be pretty exciting! Early Retirement has an adorable expressive face paired with a well proportioned body. He has a large powerful shoulder with a lovely uphill build that is desirable for all disciplines. He has a steady, rhythmic way of going that could excel in many disciplines! In addition to the sport horse aptitude that comes form his sire Freud, his dam is by Fappie’s Notebook, from Notebook/Raja Baba and Fappiano lines. We know several people that have horses by, or out of Fappie’s Notebook mares, and they report that they have excellent brains and are eager workers and excellent jumpers.
