Located at Finger Lakes Racetrack in Farmington, NY (near Rochester). This gorgeous red head made all the volunteers “oooo” and “ahhh” over her shiny coat and lovely uphill build. Lightly raced, she has managed one win in 16 starts, so her owner/trainer knows it is time to let her move on to a new career where her athleticism and movement will take her to greater success. Despite feeling a bit fresh in the cool, breezy weather, she stood calmly for her pictures and was extremely respectful of her handler. She’s reported sound with no vices. Her trainer says she’s straightforward to gallop but does have a bit more go than whoa. She showed us a lofty, reaching jog that would be well received in any discipline! She’s a very athletic filly that could succeed in just about any arena, but we think she has outstanding sport horse potential, especially given her pedigree.  She’s by Fast Draw, who is by Gone West, and is a full brother to Grand Slam, who is a coveted sport horse sire.  We have placed several Fast Draw offspring from this same breeder/trainer, and they have gone on to successful careers in many disciplines, including jumping and eventing.  Ed S Queen’s dam is a Kingmambo granddaughter, with Meadowlake (Hold Your Peace/Speak John) and Halo close up in her female family.
