Here is Ed’s Pet, full brother to Best Pet, and just as handsome, and also a great mover.. Ed’s Pet has raced exactly twice, both starts at Belmont in June of this year, but even though the competition is softer at Finger Lakes, his trainer has decided that he does not have enough aptitude to continue racing. Ed’s Pet jogged beautifully on a loose lead. Like his full brother, he is a beautiful mover, light and balanced, with good engagement from behind and good reach from the shoulders. We think he has lovely movement for the dressage ring or the hunter ring! He was just as sweet and polite as he could be. We admired his strong front end with a big shoulder tied in nicely to his neck and lots of power coming from that hind end. He is by Fast Draw (who is by Gone West and is a full brother to Grand Slam, who is a very popular eventing/sport horse sire) out of a Favorite Trick mare.
