Enduring Warrior has some of the physical attributes of an intact male, but his demeanor is well-mannered and quiet. While we were standing on the road he was polite, attentive and a big mush. His owner/handler states that, while he can be mouthy, he is not studdish, even around fillies and mares. Of course, brain surgery is easy and Finger Lakes Finest does offer a gelding incentive for a procedure that is relatively simple and can be done on the track if you desire. While he has trained at Finger Lakes he has not run here, with the bulk of his career taking place in Maryland and other eastern tracks. He broke his maiden last year at Laurel Park and, out of 21 starts, has earned greater than 50% in the money finishes. His heart just isn’t in the game anymore. He does have some mild ankle rounding but it does not affect his soundness. Warrior has been ridden Western and his owner/handler thinks he can go in any direction that a new owner desires. Warrior is by Warrior’s Reward who is by the great Medaglia D’Oro.
