Esperanza Turista, 2012 15.3h dark bay filly

After only three starts, this pretty girl is showing no racing aptitude at the sprint distances prevalent at Finger Lakes, so it is time for her to find a new career. With her lovely movement and strong shoulder and sport horse pedigree to drool over, we think there are many new careers in which she will excel. She is clean legged and described as sound and good to handle, and she was certainly nicely behaved for her photo session.  Esperanza Turista is likely to grow a bit more, and we think when she fills out she will be stunning.  For her jog video, she showed good engagement from behind, suspension, and nice reach to her big strided trot.  She is by Tiago, from the Pleasant Tap/Pleasant Colony/His Majesty/Ribot sire line, and a mare by Stop the Music from the Hail to Reason/Turn -to line.   Esperanza’s dam is by a grandson of Secretariat; her second dam was a multiple stakes winner, graded stakes placed. Her pedigree is full of stout stamina lines, and is completely free of Mr. Prospector or Storm Cat.  Young, sound, pretty,  a lovely mover — all at a bargain price!
