Fast B is not so fast but he is beautiful and oh, so sweet. He has had a spotty and unremarkable career. He didn’t start racing until he was four, had a year off and was brought back this year for another crack at it, to no avail. He has not managed to notch a win and the time is long overdue for him to move along. What we loved about this horse is his big chest and shoulder, uphill build and sweet demeanor. He patiently stood in the rain, being moved and posed for our photographer and politely accepted the peppermints offered by a volunteer. Fast B  is lightly raced with only 13 lifetime starts, all here at Finger Lakes. He is by Fast Draw, a son of Gone West out of an Arazi mare so he has a good sport pedigree along with a lovely, light and balanced jog.
