This pretty solid bodied girl drew up in with her kind eye and perfect behavior. Unfortunately, she has lost the musical chairs game, since her trainer does not have enough stalls at this farm to keep her over the winter. So she urgently needs to find a good home by the morning of Weds. Dec. 7, when the Finger Lakes stable area closes. She is a recent arrival to Finger Lakes, coming there in October after racing up and down the east coast, from Churchill to Gulfstream, Belmont, Delaware, Penn National, and Parx. She has 4 wins and 10 in the money finishes in her career, including at the allowance level, but this year she has not been as competitive. She had raced just four days before we took her photos, and her trainer says she has an osselet that bothers her for a few days after a race, but then she is fine. We could see at the jog that she was just a bit off, but still showed that she is a very good mover, light on her feet, with suspension and good reach from her shoulders. She should be fine for many disciplines, including lower level jumping. She has very good solid bodied balanced conformation. Her groom says she is very good to handle, not at all marish. As she stood for us in the road, she got groomed by a team of three people, and she stood perfectly and politely. She is a daughter of Five Star Day, a son of Carson City out of a mare form the Cox’s Ridge line. Her dam is by Dixieland Band, and her third dam is a stakes winner and stakes producer, and her fourth dam is a half sister to champion Silent Screen. Please step up for this sweet pretty mare and give her the chance at a good post track life that she so richly deserves!
