After retiring from his racing career that included 25 starts with 2
wins, 2 seconds and 5 thirds, Fotografia aka “Scar” began his
transition to working as a racetrack pony and has excelled at that for
four years. Scar’s temperament is clearly that of a well-cared for and
loved pony: he stood quietly while we photographed and fussed over him
and, in his super friendly way, showed us how much he loves
peppermints. Scar has already been started over jumps and has done
some greenie shows, so he has quite a wide variety of experiences and
skills in his 8 years. Scar’s connections are leaving for the NYRA
circuit and are dispersing many of their horses and it is with a heavy
heart that they seek an excellent new home for him.
