Franklyididitmyway, 2011 16.1h ch gelding

Sinatra fans, this one is singing your tune!  A son of the great Curlin, big handsome Frankie last raced at the end of November, 2016, and he has been hanging out on a farm since then, enjoying turn out. His owner was thinking about bringing him back to the races, but her plans changed, so it is time for Frankie to find a great new home where he can excel in a new discipline.  We spoke with the owner of the farm, not far from the track, where Frankie is located, and he reports that Frankie is sound, gets along well with other horses in turn out, and is a good horse to handle and work with, with no vices. His previous racing connections tell us that Frankie loves mints, attention, and scritches! Frankie has had his post racing let down, is fully ready to go back to work, and he is RRP eligible!  With his solid, uphill build, clean legs, and great strong shoulder, we think Frankie is an exciting prospect for eventing, or for any jumping discipline.  He showed lofty balanced movement for his jog video. Hi spedigree is excellent for sport. His sire Curlin is by Smart Strike out of a Deputy Minister mare. Secretariat, Key to the Mint, Smarten, Cyane, Turn-to, Ribot, are other sire names coveted by the sport world in his pedigree.

Because Frankie is at a farm, located about 15 minutes from the Finger Lakes track, it is essential to call to make an appointment to go see him.
