Freud’s Sunset, 2011 16h bay filly

If ever a horse was destined to excel as an eventer or jumper, it is this pretty daughter of Freud!  She is out of the same dam as Tanzillion, FLF Class of 2012, and is thus his 3/4 sister (both are by sons of Storm Cat). And Tanzillion, now known as Tanner, is excelling in his retraining as an event horse, showing great aptitude and a great mind.  Offspring of Freud are known for good minds, intelligence, and jumping ability.  While this girl has not inherited the racing aptitude of many of Freud’s offspring, that is good news for those of you looking for a top sport prospect.  She had raced the day before her photo session, so the wraps are standard post-race procedure.  And it was too icy outside her barn to safely jog for a video, but if she moves anything like her brother Tanner, we are confident that she will be a lovely mover indeed! We admired this pretty girl’s solid boned, uphill build, strong shoulder, and powerful looking hind end. She sure looks like she should jump!  Since she is only three, she is likely to grow some more, and we think she should top out at 16.1 or 16.2. Her groom said she is very good to gallop, good to handle, has no vices, and is sound and clean legged. She was perfectly behaved for her photo session.  She has only had 15 starts, so there’s not a lot of wear and tear on her.
