Frontier Scout 2011 16h dk bay gelding

Scout has the looks, the size and the demeanor of the unicorn gelding so many people are looking for and a price that will encourage a lot of shoppers to seriously consider pulling the trigger on him. Scout’s handler had nothing but good things to say about him, from his try on the track to his excellent ground manners to his been-there-done-that unflappability. Scout has relatively few lifetime starts and has chinked 5 wins, 6 seconds and a third in 35 starts. Scout is sired by Posse, whose pedigree includes sport horse sires Blushing Groom and Hail to Reason and is out of Alyten, who is sired by the great Alydar. Alyten earned almost $275,000 before being sent to the breeding shed. Scout showed nice movement at the walk and the jog and was feeling quite bouncy and exuberant on the bitterly cold morning of his interview but was a good boy for his tiny handler. Scout has a beautiful face with a soft eye, is well put together and has a lot of bone and substance. He is beginning to sport a winter coat which is shiny and lustrous. His handler reported that he has no vices and is absolutely sound. We think the sky is the limit for this gelding with a stout sport pedigree. Horses on our listings are starting to fly off the shelves, so make a trip to see Scout before winter driving puts a damper on shipping.
