This lovely dark bay filly is built like the proverbial brick you-know-what in a very nicely put together package. She’s built very stoutly and will take up the leg of a tall rider and still look proportional. She had raced just 3 days prior to her interview but exhibited no signs of stiffness or soreness out of her stall and at the jog. Her connections are stopping on her because she is chasing the elusive second win and conditions at this point in the meet are difficult for a marginally competitive runner. She has 17 lifetime starts and eeked out a solitary win with 4 other “on the board” finishes. She retires from racing sound and poised for her next move in the discipline of your choice.
Glenbrook is by the sire Friendly Island, known to produce offspring with very good movement and a propensity for being kind and quick learners. She was very friendly while we cuddled her in her stall and ogled her solid build. Several Friendly Island offspring have been placed through FLF into new homes where they are succeeding as show hunters, in dressage and as pleasure horses.
