Love Frost Giant offspring? Freud offspring? Here ya go! This adorable youngster is as flashy as he is full of personality and grooms in his shedrow proclaim him a “favorite”. He has only been at Finger Lakes for about 5 weeks, coming up from NYRA after a painfully slow workout at Belmont. After honestly assessing his likelihood of breaking his maiden at a notably softer racetrack than NYRA, his connections want to call it a day and agree that he is unlikely to be profitable racing material. Since arriving at Finger Lakes he has put on weight, which he needed, and has been stopped on as far as race training is concerned. He is being handwalked in the shedrow and is, in spite of being slow, fit and pumped. His handler handled his spirited antics with expertise and patience and we were able to see a horse with nice movement and some exuberance while being led back into the barn after his video. It should be noted that he jumped a puddle with room to spare and very nice form! Gonzee is unraced and will forever be unraced but what an exciting blank slate for the discerning buyer pining for a flashy project.
