We’ve been listing lots of quality horses lately and this one certainly doesn’t disappoint. Gym’s trainer couldn’t find enough good things to say about this handsome guy. His trainer reports that Gym is a “total sweetheart”. She reports he is a snuggle bug in his stall, a good boy to ride, and is intelligent and brave. War horse lovers should definitely take note of this one. He has earned over $124,000 in his 44 starts with 8 wins, 8 seconds, and 5 thirds. WOW! His trainer states that he is retiring totally sound, which is a testament to his durability, athleticism, and big heart. He hasn’t hit the board in his 3 starts this year, so his connections feel it’s time to send him on to a second career. His connections moved him to the farm today so he can start his downtime, which will help his transition to non-racing life go smoothly. His trainer reports that he has no stall vices. He is by Shakespeare out of an Unbridled Time mare. His video shows a cute, flat kneed trot that we could see excelling in hunters, but surely he could go in many different directions (although likely best suited for a taller rider, given his height).
