We initially listed Henry Ella last year and she was subsequently sold to another trainer on the track who has had some success with her. Other than being a year older, she is still the sweet, pretty girl that we met last year and she is really, truly done with racing. Henry Ella could have written the Johnny Cash song “I’ve been everywhere, man” because she has run at just about every eastern track, including Churchill Downs. Since we last listed her, she has notched a win and is still lightly raced. She had a small cannon bone fracture in her left front which has completely healed and she is racing sound on it. Henry Ella was fuzzier when we saw her yesterday but her pics from 2016 show a big-bodied, pretty, dappled girl who has a sweet personality. Xrays are available, the most recent being February 2017.
