Honor Bound was a “bonus” listing today because his trainer/owner hadn’t asked us to list him but pulled him out when he saw a group of shoppers looking  for prospects. As it turned out, Honor is a lovely horse with a sweet disposition and a very respectable race record, the second Catienus sire horse of the day. He was still wearing his poultice from his post-race regimen and loved the attention and mints that were showered on him. He is relatively lightly raced with 36 starts and better than 50% in the money finishes with 5 wins, 4 seconds and 8 thirds. This guy has been a stable stalwart, the kind that brings in enough money to support the others that aren’t as successful. He was very sweet and quiet during his photo shoot, eagerly accepting the peppermints being offered. He jogged beautifully on a loose lead and appeared to be very trusting of his handler. Honor Bound is reported to be sound (ran 3 days ago) and ready to move on.
