Here is a handsome, quiet, and loving guy who needs someone to give him a chance at a good life. He injured his knee is his last race, and needs time to recover before he can be used for light pleasure riding and companionship. His owner/trainer loves this horse, and really hopes someone will step up for him, even though he will not be suitable for a sporting career. He has not had the knee x-rayed. Howie was bred to be a top race horse, and started out in a leading stable. He won, showed great competitiveness, and was claimed away several times, finally landing in a barn who has given him excellent care and is dedicated to finding him a good home.
