Insane Speed, 2010 16.2h chestnut mare

While she has hardly lived up to her name on the track, this very pretty and well put together girl with a striking unusual shaped blaze is described as a quiet sound mare with a great disposition.  Both her groom and her trainer raved about what a good and kind horse she is. Anyone can handle her, you can do anything with her, and anyone can ride her, the trainer says. She had raced the day before her photo session, and she showed no stiffness, and she jogged very quietly despite a truck, and a bicycle rider passing right by her.  She can go in any new career direction, and with cute roaning running through her coat and her good size, great shoulder, and beauty, she should turn heads in the show ring or dressage arena. Although her groom did not get a good full jog pass in front of the camera due to the congested area, we did see nice balanced and light movement. We also watched a video of one of her winning races, and we saw a lovely fluid, light and balanced canter as she came back to the winner’s circle. She has an excellent pedigree for sport/jumping disciplines; her sire is from the Deputy Minister line, out of a champion mare by Cox’s Ridge, and she has Alydar close up on her dam side.  This lovely young mare is a serious bargain!  A good home is very important to her trainer.
