Irish Jade was a successful racehorse on the track earning over $116,000 in 25 starts with 1 win, 3 seconds, and 5 thirds.  He had three starts in 2017, but is just letting his connections know his heart isn’t in the game anymore, so it’s time to move him onto a new discipline.  He has been hanging out on the farm where he has been enjoying just “being a horse” and daily turnout.  He enjoyed a nice roll in the mud just before our volunteers arrived for his photo shoot.  His handler reports he is a good boy, easy to handle, without vices.  He has a nice thick build that will take up the leg of a taller rider.  Irish Jade was very quiet and polite during his photo shoot and seemed to enjoy soaking up the rays.  His trainer reports that he is retiring sound and clean legged.  We think he would make an excellent 2018 RRP prospect!  Irish Jade is by Freud.  Freud offspring are often appreciated for their good brains and trainability as well as their jumping ability.  He is out of a Jade Hunter mare and sold as a yearling for $70,000!  We think this handsome boy will get scooped up fast!
