Itching in Ivory, 2012 15.3h chestnut gelding

Raffie’s Majesty fans — here is a very pretty and very sweet son of that beloved NY stallion! Those who are lucky enough to have Raffie’s Majesty offspring know they are great movers, athletic, can jump, and have great brains. Itching in Ivory, affectionately known as Fred around the farm, is a strikingly good looking, solid bodied guy with a very friendly, people loving personality.  Wouldn’t you like to see that pretty head greeting you over the stall door when you walk into your barn?!  Fred is sound, and a very nice mover, but he just isn’t cutting it as a race horse — he has yet to win in 15 starts. With his solid body, and big flowing light stride, Fred will take up a rider’s leg, so he will accommodate a taller rider than his wither height might lead one to think.  Fred is described as good to handle and a people lover. He is described as a mild cribber, but has not been wearing a collar.  While we visited with Fred, we saw no evidence of any attempts at cribbing. For those who can accept this, we think you are going to get a great bargain and a fabulous horse.  We can see him happily cantering around a hunter ring, but dressage and eventing would surely suit him as well, given his pedigree.  Raffie’s Majesty is from the His Majesty/Ribot sire line. And Fred’s dam offers outstanding sport lines. She is from a Halo/Hail to Reason line stallion, out of a mare by El Prado from the Sadler’s Wells line. Sir Ivor, Herbager, Tudor Minstrel, Tri Jet are other sires in his pedigree admired in the sporting world.  Fred is offered at a bargain price!
