Heza a Royal One, 2011 15.3h Bay Gelding

What a cutie patootie! We think this adorable young and still growing guy is a real diamond in the rough. He has no aptitude for racing, yet to win, but we think that can be another discipline’s gain! Indeed, he has an excellent pedigree for jumping. His sire is a son of Honour and Glory from the Relaunch/ In Reality sire line so well known for producing good sport horses. His dam is a daughter of Chief’s Crown, who was a son of Danzig and a grandson of Secretariat.  Although this horse was feeling excited on the cold blustery day, we were able to obtain a nice jog video which showed nice movement.  His handler states he is sound and has no vices.  We saw clean legs, but he would benefit from some additional groceries and, since he has been running regularly all year, potentially some let down time off of the track to finish growing and acclimate to a slower paced environment. SInce he is only three and solid boned, he is likely to grow more and may well top out at over 16h. He was very kind during his video and we liked the white roaning that was evident on one of his legs.  He is bargain priced and can’t wait to find his forever, loving home.  We have reason to believe this horse needs to find a new home fast.
