Sweet and quiet! This friendly mare certainly proved to be “easy to work around”. Her trainer had nothing but praise for this sweetheart. We observed a candy-loving girl who was so quiet during her photo shoot (on a chilly & windy day that most horses were definitely ‘up’) that she didn’t even have a shank over her nose! We admired her pretty neck, sloping shoulder, and filled out top line- a sign that she is a relaxed horse who already uses her back athletically. Although somewhat more slender or narrow in build, she has a nicely balanced and proportioned body. Her handler told us that she is sound and doesn’t have any stable vices. She showed off a relaxed walk with good overreach and displayed cute movement with a floaty, airy trot. With her lovely movement and quiet demeanor, can’t you picture her cantering around the hunter ring? She has earnings exceeding $45,000 from 4 wins in 16 starts. But as her conditions have gotten more competitive, her owners would prefer to move her along to a new career rather than winter her to race again next year.
