Jammin Cat, 5 year old bay, 16.1 gelding: Placed!

This hunky boy is described by his trainer as “the love of her life.”  He raced very well for her last year, but she wants to find him the very best of new non-racing homes because this year he displaced his palate when asked for speed work. She says this should not be an issue for any discipline that demands less full out speed than racing.  He is described as a very people oriented boy who loves attention and mints. His trainer says he is very nice to ride and handle , and never gives anyone any problems. He had been off from training for three weeks when we took his photos, yet he was very quiet and jogged beautifully for his video. He is a very nice mover, light on his feet.  While he may have a plain head, he has a beautiful body, with solid bone, and a balanced build. And his loveable personality more than makes up for what he lacks in the pretty face department! His trainer says he has always been very sound, but has an old bump just above and inside of his right fetlock, from when he hit himself when he was younger.  His trainer is so insistent that he go only to a non-racing home that she will not transfer the papers if she even thinks someone might contemplate racing her lover boy.  We see great sport potential here!  Excellent home essential – references will be checked.
