Lightly raced and clean legged, he has done well for them this year and just broke his maiden. His groom couldn’t say enough great things about Lakota — she described him as perfect, easy to handle, groom and tack up, like a puppy dog who follows her around, so kid friendly that her toddler crawls under his belly. She never has to use a chain shank on him. He was so friendly and curious he kept sticking his nose in our pockets looking for treats, and seemed to try to help write our notes to make sure we did him justice! He showed off beautiful movement for his jog video, with a light toe pointing trot with suspension. He had just raced a couple of days before his photo session, so the poultice remnants on his legs are standard post race care. This is a very special horse who could excel in any discipline, he is bargain priced for his quality, and only the best of homes will do for him.
