A rare opportunity to get one of the few remaining offspring of the great and durable Say Florida Sandy — a sire much coveted by eventers, fox hunters, and H/J riders, known for producing horses as durable as he was, with great brains, stamina, athleticism, and jumping ability.  “Freaky” is indeed all that!  A long time barn favorite, with a solid warmblood-like build, he is described as a horse with “personality plus”, and a total puppy dog when he is able to enjoy regular turn out. Freaky has been a good and consistent race horse, with 8 wins and 26 in the money finishes in 43 starts.  In his one start last year, he incurred a small tear in a suspensory. It has been properly rehabbed and rested, and when ultrasounds this summer showed that it was completely healed, Le Freak was started back in training.  But his trainer realized it would be the end of the meet by the time he was race fit, and because Freaky is a favorite and has been such a good horse, they did not want to bring him back to racing at 9. So he is being offered to a great new home — and we are confident that whoever is lucky enough to get this horse will be richly rewarded for a long time.  Freaky is a very good mover — for his jog video he showed lots of suspension and reach. We also watched some of his race videos, and he showed off a light, lofty and balanced gallop and canter to dream about riding!
While upper levels of eventing may not be in his future, Freaky should have no limitations for lower level eventing or jumping, or dressage.
