League of His Own, 2012 bay 16.2 gelding

This son of Quiet American from the Fappiano line so coveted for sport/jumping is a jaw dropping stunner, a rare quality horse with spectacular breeding, amazing conformation, lovely movement and impressive manners. And he is only two and sound and clean legged! As soon as he hit the road outside the barn we knew something special was in front of us. This gorgeous big youngster ran his first race the day before his interview and we have confirmation from his jockey that he is sound and sane, ran green, and his connections are choosing to call it a day. He has had tie back surgery but does not roar and is likely not to be compromised in non-racing disciplines. He is reported to be a very good boy on the ground, great to gallop, well mannered and very well broke, friendly and playful, a perk of great connections with quality horses. On a cold blustery morning when he had every excuse to put his tail over his back he was sensible and demonstrated beautiful and fluid movement. We are very excited about this growing, promising youngster! He was oh – so-close to being snapped up almost as soon as we got his listing but a female stablemate got the nod instead. He is a horse of serious quality:  he is a full brother to a multiple stakes winner, grade I placed racehorse who won almost a million dollars on the track.  Don’t hit pause: fast forward to BUY!
