What a beauty, with his chiseled elegant head and coppery blood bay coat that gleamed in the sun! His stunning presence shouted “fancy show horse” to us… and then when we saw his gorgeous floaty movement, our impression that he could light up the show hunter or dressage ring was confirmed. Little Dale is his owner/trainer’s beloved baby, and he has raced well for her for several years. But she does not want to race him again next year, so she would like to find the perfect home where he will be loved and where he can show off in a new discipline. She says he is very quiet, and a people friendly lover boy of a horse. He is described as sound, and his legs are clean. He seemed to soak up our attention and oohs and aahs as he posed for his glamor photos. He showed off a lofty light trot with great reach and cadence. We also watched some of his race videos, and his canter back to the winner’s circle was as light and rhythmical and balanced as his trot. he is by Yankee Gentleman, who is American Pharoah’s broodmare sire….hmmm we can see a resemblance in their big bay elegance! This is a quality horse that should command serious attention from anyone looking for a fancy top prospect for H/J, dressage, or eventing.
