Cute cute cute!  Live Like Jay seems like she wants to be someone’s best friend to be doted and loved on.  She is described as very sweet and classy to work with.  She was very polite and quiet during her photo shoot and she stood nicely for bathing in the cross ties after returning from the track just before our visit.  She is reported to be without any vices.  Her trainer states she is retiring clean legged and sound.  Jay was competitive at the allowance level last year and after wintering at the farm, just did not come back to the track with the same desire to run.  She is letting her connections know she is ready to move on to another career now.  She earned over $75,000 in her 33 starts with 5 wins, 2 seconds, and 4 thirds.  We know she has many more wins in her in a different discipline!  Live Like Jay is by Bluegrass Cat out of a Crafty Prospector mare.
