Lo Gin and Tonic, 2011 16h bay filly

If you’re looking for a child-friendly sweetheart who is sound, hard trying, and with an ideal sport horse pedigree, this filly is for you!  Her owner told us that Lo Gin and Tonic is the favorite horse of his 2 year old daughter, who goes into her stall and cuddles with her.  After winning two races this year, she is finding the next level of competition too challenging, so he wants her to find a new career where she can excel.  With her longer backed build, she should be a good jumper.  She is described as sound, and a great horse to handle.  She was perfectly behaved for her photo session, and showed a nice flat kneed reach to her trot.  If one had to draw up an ideal sport horse pedigree for the modern US thoroughbred, you would be hard pressed to do better than Lo Gin and Tonic’s lineage. Her pedigree combines all the sire lines best known for producing good jumping sport horses, and there is no Mr. Prospector or Storm Cat.  She comes from the Damascus sire line, and her sire’s dam line brings in Halo/Hail to Reason/Turn-to, and Alydar.  Her dam is from the Wavering Monarch/Majestic Light sire line, with Buckpasser as well.  Her dam side also brings in In Reality and Noholme.  With a pedigree like this, this pretty filly will surely make a great jumper/eventer, or a sport horse broodmare.  Or, with her sweet personality, she could happily be your best friend and pleasure horse.
