This almost black stunner has an amazing presence and elegance… and when he moves he just floats over the ground with a big lofty step. Everything about him had us saying “Wow!” His trainer says he is sound, but after winning at Aqueduct over the winter, he just stopped trying in his races, signaling that he would prefer a new career. And what unlimited new career options he indeed has, with his size, strong shoulder and gorgeous movement! Will it be dressage, eventing, or hunter jumper? We want to follow him in whatever endeavor it might be. His trainer says he is well mannered with no vices, and we certainly observed a polite and alert horse who was respectful of his handler. Lorimer Street is already a very big boy for such a youngster, and he is likely to grow some more, but he is also well balanced, and is such a light mover that he hardly pounds his big frame. He is a son of Desert Party, who is by the great Street Cry, and his dam is by Gone West.
Based on his preview photo and video, we have been besieged with people begging for information on him, so we expect this fabulous young horse to get snapped up quickly, so do not hesitate to call. He comes from a great barn that honestly represents their horses, cares about making the right match, likes to follow their horses in their new careers, and will be choosy about who gets him, so get your references ready.
