This handsome young guy impressed us with his presence, his great shoulder, nice topline, and good bone. And if that’s not enough, he is also a lovely fluid mover with nice suspension! All of that adds up to an impressive prospect for the show ring. He was quiet and good to handle for his photo session, and as you can see, he did not even need a nose chain. The trainer says he came to them with a slightly large knee, but he has raced sound on it, it does not have heat, and she thinks it might just be old scar tissue. He certainly appeared sound for his trot video, and we saw him only two days after a race. He just hasn’t shown much racing ability, so they want to find him a new career. He has excellent breeding for the sport horse/jumping world, as a son of Lemon Drop Kid out of a Cozzene mare. He’s only three, so he is likely to grow some more, and we think he will top out at a good bit over 16h.
