Lucky Dilly 2016 15.3 ch filly

Here’s a sweet little filly who, although she broke her maiden for special weight here at Finger Lakes, her trainer explains that the field in that race was soft and she has not managed to notch another win, although she was in the money 6 times in 21 lifetime starts. Her speed numbers would indicate that she is not really racehorse material. The morning of her photo session was particularly frigid and she was fidgety in the road. That along with the fact that her very polite and green groom had no clue how to stand up a horse for confo shots was a challenge but our cracker jack photographer got some good shots of a very pretty little filly who wants to put the racetrack behind her and settle into a loving home where she will be loved on and pampered. Lucky Dilly is described by her trainer as sound and she also notes that she is a half to her good horse, Lucky Six, who has earned $170,000 on the track as a five year old. Lucky has the sweetest face and kindest eye and that is what drew us in to her, that and the fact that she is still a baby and has growing and maturing to do. Our hunch is that with some turnout and down time, she will be a different horse in the spring and ready to go on to her training with you. Lucky is by Honorable Dillon, a son of the spectacular Tapit, out of a Trust in Luck (Montbrook) mare.
