Luckybuck Syndrome 2013 16.1+ ch gelding

Lucky had many admirers and a large audience when he was posed for his pictures and all were in agreement that he is a nearly perfectly conformed specimen of the breed. Lucky’s on-track connections are not eager to part with him but they are making room for horses that are returning to Finger Lakes from hurricane-devastated Puerto Rico.  His handler describes Lucky as fun horse to be around, but quirky as well. He is sensitive about being groomed and tacked but is easily distracted by sucking on a peppermint. He is reported to be a perfect gentleman while training on the track, is a smooth, easy ride and bonds to his human (he was very sweet and affectionate with his handler). Lucky’s breeding is quite impressive as is his race record. With 20 starts and 4 wins, Lucky is confronting tougher racing conditions and his form has tapered off. Lucky’s sire, Lookin at Lucky, was the 2010 Preakness winner and Eclipse champion 2 year old in 2009 and Eclipse champion 3 year old in 2010. At the jog we witnessed very nice movement with even cadence and suspension. Lucky’s handler is adamant that he needs a job and his youth, excellent conformation and clean legs would suggests that he has many years of sporting discipline ahead of him.
