Mammie’s Treasure, 2015 15.3+ bay filly

This beautiful, sound, sweet,  and still growing filly has an ideal sport horse pedigree, and we think that with her pretty looks, strong shoulder,  and lovely movement, she has huge potential for many new careers.   Her sire Treasure Beach, a major stakes winner who ran long on the turf, is by Galileo, the greatest sire in the world — and he is a son of Sadler’s Wells. And her dam is by Holy Bull, whose offspring are well known for having the best brains and movement and willingness and jumping ability, out of a Hail to Reason mare. Lightly raced with only 7 starts, Mammie’s Treasure won her maiden race this past summer, and since that lone win she has shown her trainer that the next level of competition is a bit too tough for her.  So her trainer wants to find her an excellent new home that can bring out her potential for a new career. Her pedigree suggests that sport/jumping disciplines should be ideal for her.  Mammie’s Treasure is described as a friendly good girl, good to  handle, with no vices, and sound and clean legged.  Since she is only 3, she is going to grow, and likely to top out at at bit over 16h. She was very well  behaved for her photo session on a brutally cold and windy day, and she jogged politely for her handler, showing off very good movement with great flat kneed reach from her shoulders.  Young, sound, great temperament, great movement, and a pedigree made to excel in sport/jumping disciplines… MammIe’s Treasure ticks all the boxes!
