This big solid bodied mare is just beautiful — and will be even more impressive when you go see her in person! She has solid bone, a huge shoulder, and the kindest expression on her pretty face. She was a regular winner on the Belmont/Saratoga/Aqueduct circuit earlier in her career, so there’s a lot of class  and athletic talent here. She has 7 wins in her career, and over $187,000 in earnings. This year she has slowed down, so it is time to let her move on to a new career. With her good looks and nice movement, we can see her in the hunter ring!  Maxana does have some “track jewelry” in that she has some rounding on an ankle, but her connections report that it is old and set, racting sound and she has no limitations. She will surely love any discipline you want to do with her. Her trainer says she is a very good girl, nice to handle, with no vices. During her meet and greet today, Maxana showed a very kind disposition and a wise demeanor– a blustery day on the back side and she was calm and mild mannered, despite the wind up her tail! She is by Anasheed, a son of A.P Indy out of a Nureyev mare. Her dam is by Gold Token out of a mare from the Halo/Hail to Reason sire line.
