And with her beautiful toe pointing trot and light suspension, she can also excel in the hunter ring or in dressage. The assistant trainer who showed us the mare told us she thought Message of Love would make a phenomenal event horse, and we certainly agree! Message of Love has been with her trainer since she was a two year old, so they know her whole history. They say she has always been very sound, and perfectly behaved, not at all marish.  She was certainly friendly, kind, and polite for her interview, and she trotted on a loose lead.  Message of Love was stakes placed at three, running second in the NY Oaks. This year, while always hitting the board, she has not won, so her owner wants to move her on to a new career while she is still sound with so much potential. She is by Read the Footnotes, who is from the Smoke Glacken/Two Punch sire line, which is coveted by eventers.  And with her size, bone, and conformation, wouldn’t she also produce great warmblood cross sport horse babies!
