Messy Sundae, 2015, 16h bay mare

Located at the Finger Lakes Race Track in Farmington, NY (near Rochester, NY).  Another one with a super fun name to follow her into his second career-and who doesn’t love a messy sundae?!  Her connections describe Sundae as “a total sweet heart” who “anyone could work with”.  They think she will make a great riding horse in a different discipline.  They also feel that he would be a good choice for a junior rider or someone looking to get into the world of OTTBs (with a professional’s assistance of course).  Sundae is reported to be retiring sound and without any stall vices.  They repeat that she is easy to work around, groom, and stands well for the farrier.  Her exercise rider also said that she is good to ride and quiet to tack.  Sundae has earned just over $46,000 in her 24 starts with 4 wins, 1 second, and 3 thirds.  In her two starts this year, Sundae did not hit the board, so she is definitely ready for a new career!  Her trainers report that Sundae has been doing well in training and she is really getting “back into gear”, but the meet is very short this year, so she’s ready to find a new job. She is by Simmard out of an Artax mare.  We think it’s definitely worth treating yourself to this Messy Sundae as an RRP prospect for 2021!
