Michele’s Way, 2013, 15.1h+ bay filly

Another bargain for the day!  This cutie is just beautifully built and very correct.  Although on the smaller side, she has a tank of a body and is quite rotund to take up the leg of a taller rider.  At only 4 years old, she still has some growing and filling out to do (can you even imagine how thick she will be)?  MIchele’s Way is lightly raced with only 10 career starts including 2 wins, a second, and 3 thirds.  Her rider reports she is a princess to ride, is very level headed, and very intelligent-always things you want to hear from the exercise rider!  In the barn, her handler reports that she has a similar demeanor, quiet and intelligent, polite, and just an all around good girl.  They report she loves attention and is a peppermint hound, so a home with lots of treats is important to Michele.  In her most recent race in August (which she won), Michele’s Way sustained a mild, non displaced slab fracture to her left knee.  She has been on stall rest since then.  Her stall rest is up on Nov 28 and she can start rehabbing with hand walking at that time.  The vet reports her prognosis is excellent to return to disciplines less strenuous than racing.  Xrays are available.  She comes from a shedrow of beautifully maintained horses.  A good home is a must and references will be checked to ensure she goes somewhere that will keep her looking as good as she does now.  Michele’s Way is by Henrythenavigator out of a Distorted Humor mare.  She is RRP 2018 eligible! Please note: we did not take a video because of her stall rest status, however, her trainer may be able to text you a walk video.  AND since she has two recent wins, you can watch her free race replay which zooms in on her trotting back to the winner’s circle and demonstrates her nice, floaty trot!
