Miss Potenza is a real favorite of her trainer, who says she is a sweet filly who likes to bond with her person, is always well behaved and never marish.  Miss Potenza has found the race conditions she is  eligible for after breaking her maiden to be a bit too challenging, so it is time to let her find a new career where she can shine.  The trainer described Miss Potenza as very sound. When we initially listed Miss Potenza last year, with her previous trainer, that trainer told us that Miss Potenza is lovely to ride and gallop; the current trainer agreed that she is a good girl who never gives her riders any trouble. Although Miss Potenza was feeling the wind up her tail on a blustery day,  and we noted suspension and balanced movement at the trot. The previous trainer, who has placed many horses into H/J and eventing homes where they are succeeding, told us that she thinks Miss Potenza is an excellent hunter/jumper prospect. With her compact build and athleticism and balance, we can also see her taking to polo, or barrels.   Miss Potenza is also very well bred, and should attract serious interest from breeders. She is by Pulpit’s young son Stroll, out of a young mare by Johannesburg. Her second, third, and fourth dams are all multiple graded stakes producers, including of Grade I top level winners.
