With her name, of course Molly is a daughter of Freud! She is very flashy with eye-catching chrome, has a strong wide chest, and a leggy uphill build.  She also showed very good movement for her jog video.  The trainer says she is sound and a good girl to handle, but she came to him from Belmont in mid-September underweight and he is working on bulking her up.  Once she finishes growing, and fills out, she is going to be stunning.  The trainer reports that in early 2020 Molly had throat surgery to correct a partially paralyzed flap.  She has raced 6 times, without success. After finding the waters at Saratoga and Belmont too deep, her owner sent her to Finger Lakes in the hope that softer competition would make Molly a winner. But in her race just a couple of days ago, she still finished far back, so it is time to let her find a new career. She has unlimited potential for any discipline, and her trainer says that she does not make a noise.  Molly has an excellent sport horse pedigree. Her sire Freud is a full brother to Giant’s Causeway, and many Freud offspring are succeeding as eventers, jumpers, show hunters, and dressage horses.  Molly’s dam Kaleigh Rose is by El Coorredor, a Gone West grandson out of a mare from Deputy Minister lines.  Northern Dancer, Roberto and Blushing Groom are other notable sires in her pedigree.
