Mom’s Touch, 2013 15.3h+ dark bay mare: retained by owner

Located at owner/breeder’s  farm in West Falls, New York, near Buffalo.
Mom’s Touch is a homebred from an owner/breeder whose horses are lovingly cared for, well trained,  and all of those we have listed have gone on to great success in new careers ranging from dressage to eventing.  Mom’s Touch should be no exception — she has the uphill build, good mind, soundness, and great sport horse breeding that should make her very successful in many new disciplines.  Her conformation and temperament  and movement warranted her winning the award for best overall TB at a breeders’ show when she was a yearling! Her track trainer says she is a sound and very nice horse to be around and work with, and has no vices.  Her owner is ready to retire her from racing and move her on to a new career because after she won another race this spring, she has performed less successfully  against the tougher competition she then had to face.   Mom’s Touch has had 32 career races, with 3 wins, 7 seconds, and 6 thirds — this 50% in the money rate shows what a competitive, hard trying athlete she is — traits that will transfer well to a new sporting career!  Mom’s Touch is sired by Touch Gold, who is a son of Deputy Minister out of  Buckpasser mare. Her dam is by Comeonmom, a son of Jolie’s Halo, who is b y Halo.  And her dam’s broodmare sire is by With Approval, who is a son of Caro. These are great  bloodlines for jumping, eventing, or dressage.
Price: $3500, negotiable only to an excellent approved home
