This big, nearly black, solid bodied stunning boy has been hanging out on a farm babysitting an older mare since he retired from racing three years ago, but his owner has decided that he really wants and need a new career. He has had no retraining from the track (except in begging for peppermints and loving) so he is a RRP Makeover eligible and a clean slate for you to take in any direction!  His owner says he is sound and clean legged, a very smart and kind horse, a very good mover, and always a very well mannered gentleman. He is very well bred, and sold for $120,000 as a yearling. He is by top sire More than Ready, from the Halo sire line, and his dam, who is from the Damascus sire line, also produced top racehorse Friendly Island. We have listed several Friendly Island offspring, and they are lovely movers, very good jumpers, and quick learners. So here is a chance to get his half brother, with an excellent pedigree for sport.  More Impact is relatively lightly raced, with only 31 starts spaced out over several years, and thus he does not have the wear and tear from the track that one might expect from a horse who raced until 9. His owner says that he is a non-sweater, which limited the time of year he raced to spring and fall. She says that with proper supplements including electrolytes, his condition is easily managed. Because More Impact is her beloved pampered pet, she will be careful about his new home, and references will be required and checked.
