Morning Headache, 2011 16.1h dark bay mare

We think that seeing this gorgeous dappled beauty in your barn would be a cure for a morning headache! She wins our volunteers’ prize for the prettiest horse we have photographed this year — solid bodied beautiful conformation, dazzling dapples, an elegant and pretty head, great shoulder, top line and hind end!  With her looks and nice movement we can see her standing out in the hunter ring, but she has unlimited potential for any discipline of your choice.  She is cleverly named, as her sire is Repent, and her dam is named Salty Ruckus… .and the morning headache will certainly make you repent from the salty ruckus you thought you had enjoyed the night before!  She is ready to find a new career because even though she has been in the money in 18 of her 24 starts, this year she has not been as successful on the track.  She is described as sound, quiet, well behaved, and a real sweetheart.  We could see that sweetheart personality for ourselves, as we spent time with her petting her and giving her treats as we waited by her stall for the person who would show her to us to arrive. Morning Headache had already been done up in wraps for the day by the time we got to photograph her — standard barn procedure, but we are assured that her legs are clean, and the contact person sent us unwrapped leg photos to prove that.  She showed a very nice flat kneed trot for her video, and we also watched some videos of her races, where we observed a balance, fluid and flat kneed canter and trot.  This gorgeous mare is bargain priced for her quality, so we expect lots of interest, and advise calling fast if you want to be the lucky person who will win the race to add this beauty to your life.
